Day 1 Tuesday SINGAPORE - ISTANBUL
Assemble at 2100 Hrs. at the Singapore International Airport in front of Turkish Airline counter for group checking-in. Departure by TK67 at 2305 for Istanbul (IST).
Day 2 Wednesday ISTANBUL – TEL AVIV
Arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport at Tel Aviv. Drive to Caesarea Maritima; Here, Cornelius became the first Gentile convert to the new faith and the Apostle Paul was imprisoned before being taken to Rome to stand trial. =Lunch= Proceed to Megiddo, the site of numerous battles in Biblical history. This valley is thought by many to be the scene of the end-time battle of Armageddon Drive to Nazareth; Tour of Nazareth Village. Finish day at Tiberias where we have dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Thursday TIBERIAS
Sea of Galilee Boat Ride; The boat takes us across the area where most of the Gospel stories took place. See the same waters upon which Jesus walked. From Tiberias to Nof Genossar and Mount of the Beatitudes. Here, the famous Sermon On The Mount took place. Proceed to Capernaum Jesus made Capernaum his home during the years of his ministry. Peter, Andrew, James and John were fishermen living in the village. Matthew the tax collector also dwelt here. Then we go to Tabgha, commemorating the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes and the site of Peter's encounter with the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. =Lunch= We will proceed, surrounding the Sea of Galilee up to Yardenit the traditional baptism place. After lunch we go to the Ancient Boat Museum A first century wooden vessel discovered near north of Ginnosar on the lake's northwestern shore in 1986. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight
Day 4 Friday
After Breakfast we’ll drive to the Golan Heights, pass in front of Mount Hermon and visit Banias/Caesarea Philippi; "Banias" is the original name of this site near Mt. Hermon in the North, famous as the place where Peter first confessed that Jesus is the Messiah. =Lunch= Afterwards proceed to the Valley of Hula and drive back to Tiberias. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight
Day 5 Saturday
Today we will leave the Tiberias area, driving through the Valley of Jordan but before we will visit Bet Shean, the biggest archeological excavations in the area that includes ruins from the times of the Philistines up to Bizantine time. We will proceed to Jericho and visit the ancient city of Jericho =Lunch= then up to Jerusalem. Have a first panoramic view of the old city from Mount Scopus. Proceed to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 Sunday
Mount of Olives Jesus spent his last days and ascended after his resurrection here. On His return, His feet will stand on this mountain and it shall be split in two. Garden of Gethsemane Jesus came here to this tranquil spot on the Mt. of Olives to pray for God's will to be done before he was arrested and taken away. Mount Zion often identified with the "City of David", is a hill that is protected on the south and west by the Valley of Hinnom. You can visit the "Upper Room" and the House of the High Priest Caiaphas. =Lunch= Holyland Model: Here the visitor can find a full scale model of the Jerusalem of Jesus' time. A great aid in visualizing the geography of NT Jerusalem. Garden Tomb, a rock formation that resembles a skull (Golgotha), and the site accords with the biblical data of the area where Jesus was buried. View of Bethlehem and Shepherd's field. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 Monday
Today we will travel to the Dead Sea and start at Ein-Gedi field school observation point called "Spring of the Goat." This is where King David hid from Saul, and where God defeated the enemies of the Israelites by praise and worship led by King Jehoshaphat. Proceed to Qumran located near the NW shore of the Dead Sea, famous for the discovery of the so called "Dead Sea Scrolls" in 1947. =Lunch= Dead Sea, the lowest place on the surface of earth (approx. 400 meters below sea level. Enjoy your afternoon by floating on the sea that contains one of the world's richest sources of minerals; This sea is mentioned in Num 34:3, Ezek 47:8, Joel 2:20 in the bible. Sodom, Gomorrah and "the cities of the plain" were located in and around the southern portion of the Dead Sea. At evening we return to Jerusalem to visit the Western wall tunnel. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 8 Tuesday
Drive to the Old City and visit the Southern Steps The western flight of stairs leading to the main entrances of the Temple Mount. Westerm Wall The holiest site in Judaism, that is the closest visible and accessible part of the Second Temple complex from Jesus' time. Visit Temple Mount if situation permits. =Lunch= Pool of Bethesda Jesus performed a great miracle here on a man who had been lame for 38 years. As it was done on the Sabbath, this led to controversy with certain Jewish leaders of the time. Visit the Jewish Quarter where you may find the "broad wall" that is mentioned in Isaiah 22 and Nehemiah 3; a "window" into the period of the First Temple. Evenning shopping at the Jerusalem Mall. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 Wednesday TEL AVIV - ISTANBUL
Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum bring to us the images of the holocaust that came over the Jewish people during World War II. Yad HaShmonah provide visitors with hands-on exposure to the manners and customs of the ancient Israelites. = Lunch= proceed to Tel Aviv Airport for Istanbul by flight TK 1189 departing at 1930hrs. and arrive Istanbul at 2150hrs and connect to TK 66 at 2345hrs for via Istanbul.
Day 10 Thursday ISTANBUL - SINGAPORE
We will arrive Singapore at 1525 Hrs. with Sweet Memories of the Holy Land.
